I prefer the non-magic stories. But there are just some stories that require magic or science fiction technology to make them work. Like body switching.
Of course, Hollis might not be able to let it go. Which leads to Hollis falling for Mrs. Guerrero and beginning a steamy affair with her. Now, Hollis is torn between Mrs. Guerrero and Laurel. Of course, it could end with Horatio Guerrero dead and with Hollis and Mrs. Guerrero on the run with a good deal of Horatio Guerrero, and Laurel in shambles yet again, it is a noir detective story after all
Some twist... and a shot to her gut... but I suppose... you had to know. Very nice.
