Lasspoint - A DC Comics TG Crossover - Part 6

Berni had been lounging on the couch early on Halloween, watching Iris's news broadcast as always, and was surprised to see her bring up The Flash saving the trafficking victims and the various good deeds she'd done around the city since then. It reminded her of when Barry had first become Flash, watching Iris report on him while the two were still dating, not quite official, feeling the guilt of keeping it secret from someone who meant so much to him. Iris seemed more excited than she did the first time around, maybe because she's older and cares more about others, or maybe because she's psyched about having a female superhero in her city. She'd been spending her family time for the last week decorating the house and giving notes on EO and Iris's costumes. She had put off looking at her costume, worried it would be some pink number nobody her age would be caught dead in with plastic stripper heels to match. If she expected the worse, she thought, it couldn't be that bad.

That evening, Berni sat on her porch wearing the pink number nobody her age would be caught dead in with the plastic stripper heels to match handing out candy to all of her neighbors. The parents congratulated her on waking up from her coma, a weird think to congratulate someone for, but it's good that they care. Unfortunately, since they only had two chairs on the porch, Berni got to have a front-row seat to Iris in her puffy, frilly Queen costume sitting on EO's lap in his bulky foam armor. It was fun to see the little boys dressed like Superman or Green Lantern, Barry never didn't get a kick out of kids idolizing he and his friends. Berni snuck a little extra candy to each of the superheroes as they came up until, as the night was winding down, she spotted a beautiful sight. One of the women she'd saved from the traffickers that night, with her little Sister in a little red jumpsuit with a little red ski mask and little red ski goggles. A yellow lightning bolt made with electrical tape removed all doubt what she was dressed as.

"Wow, little girl, what are you?" EO said, leaning forward enough that Iris had to stand.

"I'm The Flash! She's the best superhero 'cuz she saved my big Sister from the bad men." She said with such genuine pride and gratitude that Berni started to tear up at the flattery. Even more when she saw Eobard's frustration start to bubble up at somebody commending The Flash. Iris started to gush with the girl about how cool The Flash was.

"She IS the best, right Bern?" Iris exclaimed. Berni looked at her, then Eobard. He knows that she's The Flash, but she can't let on that she knows he knows.

"I mean, anyone who saves innocent people is the best! Team Flash forever!" Berni exclaimed. Emptying the candy bowl into the little girl's bag. Knowing that Eobard saw it, but not looking. She went back in to fill the bowl, struggling to walk in the tall heels. She can't imagine the autopilot Berni that ran the show before Barry's consciousness caught up with her ever would have chosen this costume, it had to be something that Eobard thought would be funny to make Barry wear before sneaking it into Berni's wardrobe. The Autumn breeze going up the short skirt of the costume was also mortifying, this didn't seem like the vibe for Berni's fashion sense.

The full candy bowl sat on the counter as Berni returned from the bathroom, going as a woman still felt odd, but felt less so than it had. She checked her phone to see a message from Iris "Going out. Night!" Berni had the house to herself. What would she do? Watch a scary movie? Stroll the neighborhood in costume to feel like a Halloween Princess? Find a party of people her age? No. She'd go on patrol. The Flash doesn't take holidays. She got ready to pack up for the night, the leftover candy would be good for the stomach rumbles that come after a night saving people. As she headed for the stairs, the doorbell rang. She scooped up the bowl and clicked her heels toward the door.

She was surprised to find a woman roughly her age, dressed as a French Maid. She was cute, with an enthusiastic smile and a kind wave.

"Aren't you a little old for trick or treating?" Berni asked.

"Oh! I'm not here for that. But -- Oh! You have Take 5. Don't mind if I do." the maid grabbed the candy and tucked it into her bra. "Love those things."

"Can I help you with something?" Berni asked, a bit worried that this was an old friend of Berni's that she didn't recognize, she began planning to explain that the coma made her memory hazy.

"I just wanted to give you my card. My name is Mandi Maines and I run Prime Labs over in Keystone. I'd love to have a few minutes of your time when you're looking less... Royal. Amazing, by the way. You're rocking those heels."

"How do I- What do you mean?"

"Your legs look great! And the bangs. They don't work for everyone but you-"

"Why would someone from Prime Labs want to talk to me?"

"We specialize in metahuman studies, and we thought maybe you could help us with some research and we could help you in other ways."

"What does that have to do with me?" Berni said, feigning ignorance.

"Oh, there's a lot you could help us with, I have an entire notebook filled with theoretical work on the applications of super speed. Would you like to see it? It's back at the office, but if you want to give me a lift I'm sure you could get us there... In a Flash." Her knowing smirk. Berni wrapped her arms around her and yanked her inside at super speed. "Exactly!" Mandi exclaimed as Berni stumbled in her heels, coming to a sudden stop.

"How do you know?" Berni asked.

"Well, I tracked your power signature here. Then I looked at the residents of the house and figured that the old guy probably wasn't the new girl in town. Then I hacked the surveillance cameras at CCPD and saw for a split second the The Flash has blonde hair. From there... You're the only answer. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I just want to help you save people and in turn you help me save people. How's that sound?"

"I'll hear you out... But if I change my mind."

"Your secret is safe, I just think we can do a lot of good together. And maybe we can help get you a real suit." Mandi teased. Berni's ears perked up and a smile crossed her face.

"Would you do the honors?" Mandi asked as Berni changed clothes, scooped her up, and ran them to the address on Mandi's business card. She asked Berni to wait outside so she could do a "wardrobe change." Berni sat in the empty parking lot of PRIME Labs, a large facility with no employees or visitors. She wondered how full this place was when it wasn't the night of a Holiday. Mandi returned in an outfit that seemed a bit whimsical for someone who touted themselves as such a professional. A golden bodysuit with a high collar, platform boots, a pleated black skirt, and a black lab coat that bore the logo of her lab. Not to mention the pair of goggles that looked straight out of a post-apocalyptic video game.

128524061

"Wow. This looks like STAR Labs." Berni said without thinking.

"Never heard of 'em."

"Oh, they're from uh... Back where I'm from. An indie sort of... Underground... High-Tech... Multi-million dollar lab. Uh. Not a lot of people have heard of them. They keep it hush hush. Keep out the posers."

"An... underground Metahuman research lab?"

"No biggie. Forget I said anything." Berni hoped that sounded casual and not desperate.

"Ok... Well... As you can see, we have facilities out the you-know-what made to research metahumans and their abilities." She showed Berni around, a bunch of different machines and contraptions that the nerd in her was dying to ask about, but she was trying to make a good first impression. "But... There's something more I want... An ulterior motive if you will." What could it be? Blackmail?

"And?" Berni said, showing a defiance. Or at least she hoped she was, she didn't have too much experience doing that with this face yet.

"I want... To help create a superhero." Her eyes went wide. "Not like... Genetically engineer one or give somebody powers. I just think I'd be doing a lot of good for the world by helping someone with the abilities to help people and, more importantly, the good heart to do so achieve their full potential. That sure beats, you know, being commissioned by Lex Luthor for the millionth time to prove that Superman's heat vision causes birth defects or deformation. They don't, in case you wondering."

"So, how exactly would you help The Flash?"

"Glad you asked! I've thought about it a lot A LOT. Like, a lot! I have meta activity censors in most major cities, I could get you intel on threats of all kinds in all places, I could have the information to you and you could be there saving the day within less than a minute. We have the facilities for you to train, enhance your speed and abilities. We have power dampening holding cells, only as a last resort of course. And we have the materials and capability to build you a suit that looks a little less like you're a jogger that decided to rob a bank before hitting the slopes. Not that your current outfit doesn't have its own, er, Ex-Con-Skibunny charm."

"And you don't plan to profit on this?" Berni asked.

"Outside of the grants that keep the lights on? No. I just want to help! That's why I started doing this." Mandi looked eager and nervous, like she was afraid to scare Berni off.

"I guess we could try it out... Now about this new suit..."

"Yes! Absolutely! It might take a bit but I have some ideas and we can-" She stopped speaking as the gust of wind Berni kicked up sinaled that she left the room, she returned in a form-fitting red suit with a matching cowl. Looking herself over in the mirror, there were a few details she thought she'd like to toy with later, but this would do for now. She couldn't wait to be back in this suit, this felt like Berni was in a skin that was familiar for the first time since she woke up. "Oh. OK..." Mandi murmured.

128525630 (1)

"Sorry. This is just... I've been thinking about this for so long. Sorry if I stepped on your toes."

"Oh. No worries. Did you use the anti-friction-"

"Yep."

"The extra traction boot soles-"

"Of course."

"Comms system in the earpiece-"

"Definitely."

"Tear-away pants in case of dance-off?"

"What?"

"Just making sure you were paying attention to me and not the way that cowl brings out your pretty blue eyes."

"Oh! Um. Thank you." Berni blushed and momentarily matched her costume.

"So you just knew how to do all that stuff?"

"Pretty much!" Berni tried to play it off like it was acquired knowledge, not something she'd done herself several times before.

"Wow. You're good at everything it seems. I saw in your file you're still in school?"

"Took off because of my accident. I go back next semester, haven't picked a new major yet."

"Well, if you decide to start taking engineering... You can start the day you get your degree."

"That would... Actually be amazing, Mandi."

"I mean, you don't have to start the day you graduate. You can celebrate and-"

"Mandi, you can just let moments happen. Its OK."

"Right!" Mandi nodded. Catching her breath. "Sorry, I just can't believe I'm actually meeting you! And I'm gonna help you become the next Wonder Woman! Except you're blonde! Wait, no. So is she. Except you're wearing red! Wait, no. She does that too. You're gonna be a superhero!"

"Where do you propose we start?" Berni said, confidently slipping back into a heroic voice.

"Well, I've been really anxious about proposing this to you and it went well beyond my wildest dreams but I'm... exhausted. So what say you we call it a night and tomorrow, we start taking down some supervillains?"

"Sounds great to me. Can I-"

"Yes, please! Take the suit with you, get used to it. We have a long heroic career ahead of us!"

How A Man Acts + Help!?

Bit of a long one, so text below! But first, if anyone would like to help out: I have a plan for a series in the next few months and I'm in need of GIFs or videos of celebrities in red dresses. I have Sydney Sweeney, McKenna Grace, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Lucy Hale, and Xochitl Gomez. Preferably more social media or public appearance-oriented. But I might be able to make movie scenes work. If you know of any others, please post a link in the comments or e-mail them to SydMixUp@gmail.com

XOXO
-Syd

I exited the building, it had been embarrassing enough asking my Stepmother to help me get an outfit ready for a social function, doubly so when I told her it was because it was as someone's date, a male someone. When my future hopes were dashed after it was discovered I was passing around voyeuristic images of my college classmates, I was forced to take any offer that came along. Trying to explain that I wasn't the one who took the photos, merely distributed them under pressure from some of my more persuasive peers because of my tech knowhow didn't help, because all of the tech knowhow in the world wouldn't stop one of the dumb jocks who started this little venture from deciding that blaming you was the best way to take suspicion off of he and his buddies. That being on my permanent record was enough to get the door slammed in my face multiple times, until my estranged Stepmother offered me a job. She never cared for me, but said if I was willing to do what it takes to sink into the role I could be her assistant. Unfortunately I didn't know that a more appropriate word for what she needed was "secretary," at least until after I signed the contract and they told me I had to be fitted for the skirt and heels that would be part of my uniform.

It wasn't too bad, she gave me a nice place in the city, I had a lot of free time at home. The hormones and strict diet seemed like a step too far for an employer to ask of their employee, but there's that old saying about beggars and choosers. I got to do what I had done before, talk to my friends while gaming or just for fun. Which leads us to my decision to go on a date, one of my friends, Derek, has been struggling in the girl department for a while, he seems like the whole package, he's a pretty tall guy, he takes care of himself, he works out all the time. I'm not attracted to men, but I fail to see what's not to like about a guy like him. So when he said he had a work function in my city, I offered to give him a hand, tag along as his date to help raise his profile. I didn't make my new job or the changes to myself a secret, I thought it would help to face it head-on and play it off. But when guys started to DM me or go on long obviously-previously-fantasized rants about bending me over and "breeding me" whenever I beat them in a game, I backed off, just passively participated in hopes of avoiding that kind of talk. Derek never did that though. He was, as he constantly told me, a nice guy. So I could do a nice thing for him, it shames me a bit to say it, but I know I look good. I was already short and had soft features, but I was fully convinced I could model if I wanted to, not that I would. Maybe seeing him pull a baddie like me would give his reputation a little boost and get some real girls' attention.

Derek is big into business stuff I'm not too equipped or bothered to understand, something about analytics or compound something-or-others, and this was a work even for him, so I asked my Stepmother to help me dress for it. She adored the idea of dolling me up and always seemed less cold or annoyed by my presence when I asked her for help in some feminine venture. While her on-call stylists were working on me she discussed a bunch of events she would love to take me to now that I was willing to show off my real self and was open to the idea of men being attracted to me. I might go to some as a show of appreciation, a better relationship with her wouldn't hurt since she practically runs my life now. After I was placed into what she called a professional-chic outfit with heels higher than the ones I have to wear in the office I was out the door and onto the street to find Derek in his car, I had thought he'd be waiting to open the door for me like gentlemen do in movies, but he merely honked from his driver's seat. I guess technically it wasn't a real date and I wasn't a real girl, so I had no reason to expect such a thing. No big deal.

I tried to talk to him, tell him how cool it was that we were actually hanging out in person again. But he had his radio cranked up to some podcast show that just talked about alpha males and women being subservient. After a few seconds, I mostly tuned it out and texted my Stepmother updates, last minute questions about making your man look good, usually when I had a question for her it would take hours for her to respond, but now that I'm asking her about girly stuff, she'd reply near-instantly. She and my Father didn't have a great relationship, he was constantly cheating and I was constantly defending him, but he abandoned me too when I was expelled and it was clear I wasn't going to be the heir he often spoke of when I was younger. A part of me began to wonder if maybe I should just keep attending functions and asking her for help in being a better woman if it meant I'd actually have a parent again. I was already in the deep end, why keep sitting at home and pretending I'm not? My stream of consciousness was interrupted by the sound of Derek's doors slamming. I snuck my phone back into my bag, brushed my hair out of my face and sat up straight, watching his peers, a lot of guys that looked like him. He would open the door, I would step out, take their breath away, and Derek would be the envy of every man in that place. Then I watched as the valet opened my door and Derek walked past them staring at his phone, then looked back at me, still in the car, and threw his hands up like I was some kind of idiot for not following him.

I got out, taking the Valet's hand, he was very nice. I turned everyone's head but Derek's. I looked up at the valet, thanked him with a smile before marching up to meet Derek at the door. I held his hand, his arms were huge. In the elevator we were alone and I asked him if there was anything he could teach me about what he does so I could sound like I know something when I talk to his coworkers. He assured me that I wasn't there to talk to anybody. That was a little rude, but its a professional event, I guess the arm candy babbling isn't exactly the point. As we approached the ballroom where the event was taking place, I was greeted by Derek's boss who kissed my hand and directed me to the table with the other girlfriends, the wives had their own table. After a short conversation I had found out that most of the other girls at the table were escorts, I said proudly that I was on my first date with Derek. The girls looked like they pitied me and pointed to Derek flirting with a very uncomfortable member of the staff. I tried not to think about it, we weren't on ACTUAL date, but it makes me look pretty silly. I wave it off but can't think of anything else to speak about to the girls.

The night continued much like that, him pretending I wasn't there, me pretending not to care. Eventually in need of some air, I went back downstairs and found the valet at his booth outside. I asked him how the night was going, told him my date was practically ignoring me and I wanted to thank the guy who actually opened the car door for me. I sat at his station and we had a decent conversation, I found out he was going to school for IT and this was his weekend gig. I thought that was really cool and I didn't even notice the sun was going down until I got chilly and he put a jacket over my shoulders. I thanked him for proving some men could still be gentlemen. That was when I heard Derek approaching, shouting about me leaving him, his coworkers telling him I was out here blowing the Valet. He grabbed me by the arm but the valet stood between us. He tried to shout that I was born a guy, but even in the heat of the moment, he said "does she look like a guy to you? Who cares how she was born?" Before Derek took a swing at him, and the Valet easily side-stepped it and hit him in the side of the jaw, laying him out. All of those muscles, none of the skill to use them.

I asked my Stepmother to send a car for me as it didn't seem like Derek was going to give me a ride back. Before I left, the Valet finally told me his name, Marco. He then asked for my number and in the moment I couldn't think of a single reason not to give it to him. He texted me on my ride back to my Stepmother's place to make sure I was OK, tell me how the conversation was the highlight of his time there, and that that wouldn't be changing anytime soon as they fired him at Derek's urging. My Stepmother had coffee waiting for us to have a little "girl talk," her name for it, not mine. I told her everything, she asked me if I got Marco's number, I said yes. She smirked, said "good girl," then asked to speak to him. She took my phone and rung him up, he answered excitedly and I heard his voice drop in disappointment. Then excitement as she offered him the job of her new personal driver. Then she made eye contact with me as she said "Fantastic, Marco. Happy to have you, I'll arrange for my secretary to join you for a few weeks to show you the ins-and-outs and what will be expected of you. I heard you two hit it off quite well." She winked at me.

Lasspoint - A DC Comics TG Crossover - Chapter 5

Berni had settled into her new life in the weeks following her visit with her Father. The two had begun exchanging letters that came to be the thing she most looked forward to every week, not that it had much competition given that the rest of her daily routine involved being treated like a charity case by Iris, girls' days out, unsolicited womanly advice, and outfit shopping to fill the days before Thawne came home and turned up the affection with Iris and the "Daddy's little Princess" talk directed at Berni. Luckily for Berni, it was objectively cringe-worthy, so her reaction didn't give away that she remembered what Thawne had done to her. She'd taken up running in the morning and evening in an attempt to avoid seeing him in the mornings and evenings as well as to try and jumpstart her powers, she felt self-conscious going out in public in the tight workout pants and sports bra, but she didn't know if it would be too uncharacteristic to try and cover up, so she just let the world see her midriff. Iris had told her it was a bad idea to go out alone at night dressed like that, especially in a city without their own superhero. That was something about womanhood Berni hadn't thought about, always having to be on-guard, but perhaps the sense of danger was what she needed to get the powers to kick in at last.

She'd chosen Central City Park as a place to run as it had some heavy forest that cast shade around, covering up the body she was still insecure about showing off, and it was usually pretty empty outside of mid-day. On this particular night, Berni got there a little later than usual as the suburbs she lived in nestled next to the city had begun putting up decorations to celebrate Halloween, which was only a week away. Barry had never been into the spooky stuff, but it was always nice and quaint to see the decorations, the happy families coming together to complete a project, the excitement for the big night. She only remembered a few Halloweens as Barry before her family was broken apart. She took in and appreciated all of the decked-out houses on each street and waved to the families still outside, then watched the wives glare at the Husbands for staring at her outfit a little too intently before entering the forest in the pitch-black of night.

Berni could run the path with her eyes closed, which she was more-or-less doing since she was usually out of the woods before the sun was all the way down. She'd been used to running without being able to perceive her surroundings back when she was a superhero, sometimes The Flash reached speeds so high even her super-perception struggled to keep up with everything. She confidently planted her foot with each step, hearing the flat, maintained dirt of the pathway under her, knowing that the fallen leaves and overgrown wild surrounding would notify her of if she went off coarse. But what she wasn't expecting was the tall, burly man leaping from behind one of the tall, thick oak trees, wrapping his arms around her, and dragging her off of the path as she kicked and struggled. She went for a pressure point on his neck, thanks Batman, but he shoved her to the ground. So she stood and stomped on his foot, then delivered an uppercut, thanks Hal. Then she jumped on his back and put him in a headlock, leveraging his size to make him lean into it, thanks Diana. But he sprung back into one of the oak trees, dislodging her and knocking her to the ground, he turned and delivered a kick as the bright yellow beams of flashlights weaved through the trees.

"Help!" Berni pushed to shout despite the wind being knocked out of her.

"That ain't help" the guy said in a thick accent that sounded Russian. "Over here!" He yelled. "Get the van ready!" The flashlights began to converge on Berni and her attacker as 4 other equally scary men surrounded her as they pulled her up by the ponytail. She tried to keep up to avoid the pain of being dragged by her hair. As she slowly regained her composure, she looked to the man walking alongside her, holding up his flashlight so that her captor could see where he was going, Berni snatched the flashlight from his hand and hit the man carrying her in the shin as hard as she could, making him topple. She hit him in the head, knocking him unconscious as the remaining four men surrounded her, pulling knives from their holsters and closing in, then she felt it ---

127916132

The lightning running through her, the men lunging forward, moving at what seemed like super slow-motion. Berni couldn't help but chuckle as she moved at speeds the attackers couldn't register, snatching the knives from their hands, except for the one closest to her, she stood up the first attacked that had pulled her by the hair and stood him in the way, the blade would only hit him in the shoulder, nothing drastic. She zipped through them, delivering blows to their bodies and heads enough to knock them unconscious before finding the zipties in one of their supply bags, tying their hands, dropping them in front of the Central City Police Station, she wrote a note describing what happened then contemplated for a moment before deciding it would be just too good resist, adding a signature to the bottom, "The Flash." She was confident that in the dark none of them would be able to identify her, and even if they could, the odds that these big bad traffickers would admit to a tiny jogger with bangs beating them senseless was very small.

Berni remembered the mention of the van and went for a quick wardrobe change. She didn't have access to the materials or STAR Labs' facilities to make something up to the standard she had before, but she shouldn't have to move too quickly for this, there was little risk of burning up a plain outfit. She snuck back into her room, found a red t-shirt, red track pants, some red tennis shoes, a ski mask, and some old ski goggles, enough to conceal her identity, and added a touch of spraypaint to announce her other identity. In the estimated 247 seconds it took her to drop them off, make it back home, and change, she was worried the van would have left, but she saw it there, still in the parking lot, she smirked, bursting forward toward the van, jumping through the passenger window using the shattering glass for dramatic effect. The driver, a scrawny, younger guy, panicked, fumbling toward the glovebox. without using her speed at all, she slapped his hand, pointed at him as if scolding a child. He placed his hands back on the wheel and pouted at her pleadingly.

56002dc9-8e4d-4ce6-bf55-583461baa162

"Run." Berni said in her deepest voice, but it still sounded like a young woman mocking a bigger man. She left the van and stood in the parking lot, awaiting the van driver's escape. Then trailed him, using rooftops to keep an eye on him before he arrived back at their headquarters, an abandoned warehouse, and sprinting inside as if Michael Myers was after him. Berni missed the sight of a terrified criminal. She ran in, where the trafficker was being berated by his superiors. Berni surveyed the area before noticing a catwalk above them and decided to riff on an old war story one of her friends used to tell, she appeared on the catwalk, clearing her throat to draw their attention. As they looked up, she went back to her growly voice and crossed her arms.

"Gentlemen, you have eaten well." One of the men in suits below fired his gun at her, she caught the bullet and dropped it. It was thrilling and a relief that she was already fast enough to catch a bullet, that could have been bad. The men reacted by doing it again. Berni decided to stop quoting Batman and went back to her regular voice as she started to let the stopped bullets fall from her hands to the floor below. "Can anyone help me out, I'm trying to remember the definition of 'insanity?'"

4f16a710-e55a-4993-a22a-c437dccc87cb

"Who is this!?" One screamed in his thick accent.

"I'm The Flash." Berni said, suddenly appearing behind the man before disappearing with him, dropping him zip tied in the lot, then flipping the breakers to turn off the lights. She returned to the men panicking and picked them off one-by-one. She called it into CCPD using one of their phones. She explored the warehouse they'd set up shop in and found several other women they'd grabbed off of the streets. Iris was right, this city was dangerous for women at night. But luckily for Central City, they had a superhero now. They all thanked her before filing out of the building as the police arrived. Berni took that as her cue to exit as she zipped back home and changed into her running gear, put her hair back up, then strode inside.

"You were out late." EO said, a knowing grin obvious.

"I was looking at decorations, lot of really cool stuff this year!"

"Maybe we could decorate then!" Iris said, in her pajamas standing on the staircase.

"You know what, how about we have family-themed costumes? I think Berni still has that Princess costume. I could be a valiant knight and you, my dear, can be the beautiful Queen." EO said as he stood up and approached Iris, sweeping her off of her feet.

"I can buy Berni being a pretty Princess and you being a valiant Knight, but you lost me at me being a beautiful queen." Iris chuckled, motioning her hands at her removed make-up, her casual pajamas.

"Nonsense. Berni, isn't Iris beautiful?" EO said. Iris lightly slapped him on the chest, a playful gesture telling her not to rope their Daughter into their flirtation.

"She's the most beautiful woman in the world. Don't know what you could have possibly done to deserve her." Berni said, attempting to play it off teasing, but worried she couldn't hide the contempt. EO glared, then chuckled.

"There's that bratty Princess attitude! I love it! This is going to be fun, huh!" EO shouted. Berni knew that his dorkiness was a mocking jab at the man Berni used to be. He opened his arms, to maintain cover, Berni smiled and walked forward to join the couple in a family hug before they returned to their individual bedrooms. Berni put in her earbuds, terrified of hearing any noise coming from the bedroom EO and Iris shared, and started to scroll local news sites on her phone, looking to see if anyone had begun to report on The Flash's debut yet.

Becoming the Fake ID, pt. 14

I said before that this series would run for 14 captions. But I still have one more "arc" planned. I don't know if everyone's sick of Jules by this point, she's gonna take a little break for some original captions, have enough scheduled until the first week of May! And then we'll see what she gets up to at New Years! (The captions take place at New Years, they'll be up before then)

Toxic Revelation + Model Poll?

Hey, everyone. I'll be away celebrating my birthday when this one goes up, then taking a breather after. I have captions scheduled for the next few Fridays and should be back after that. Before then, if anyone would like to suggest some models/actresses/online personalities you'd like to see in some captions, please let me know and I'll have a loom when I return! They can be someone new, someone I've captioned before, whatever!
